October 6, 7, 2008.  Multi-author signing at Riverfest, Wilmington, NC.  Had a good signing
with fellow authors Edith Edwards, Christy Judah, Richard Triebe and Stacey Cochran.  We
have formed the Coastal Carolina Writers Guild!  Below at left is Edith, author of

Coming in 2010:  The Brunswick County, NC Arts Council will sponsor a quarterly
writers' panel series on writing and getting published to be hosted by the Brunswick
Writer's Group (including Coastal Carolina Writers Guild) and moderated by K. Robert
Campbell.  Authors will have their books for sale.  The Arts Council will have some surprise
guests during the series.  All programs are 2-3:30 on Sundays.

January 17:  Part One:    The Art of Telling the Story--thinking about your reader.

April 18:        Part Two:     Polishing--formatting, editing, proofreading, etc.  Special             
                                          guest speaker
Ben Steeleman, columnist and book reviewer    
                                           for the Wilmington, NC Star News.

July 18:         Part Three:  Publishing:  DIY? Independent press?, large press?  Digital?
