Before long, Cameron finds himself plunging headfirst into a hornet's nest of betrayal and intrigue. And it gets worse--an approaching category five hurricane spins Cameron into a wild ride full of twists, turns and surprises.
BOOK TWO--THE FOURTH ESTATE
Trouble seems to follow attorney Cameron Scott like a lonely, mangey dog. Daughter Grae talks him into a working vacation at the state park where he began his first career, not far from her current home. All he needs to do is help Grae's friend Suzanne with the probate of her parents' estates. Pretty simple. The problem is, somebody wants part of Suzanne's inheritance, and they don't mind taking Suzanne's life to get it. When Cameron pulls in some old friends from home to help track down the thieves, he finds out that the Federal government is equally interested in his quarry.
BOOK THREE--THE THIRD DEGREE
The Scotts' hopes for a relaxing mountain vacation are dashed by tragedy; and it gets personal. Cameron's attempt to clear his name takes him on another deadly adventure in the Old North State.

Those plans scatter to the winds when a tornado rips through downtown Raleigh as court opens. A judge is left dead, but Cameron doubts that the twister killed him. Cameron and Mary draft the help of opposing counsel to search for the killer, or killers, eventually realizing that one of their special dinner companions may the be ultimate target.
BOOK FIVE--FIRST CLASS
Cameron thinks it odd when he learns about the premature deaths of several of his law school classmates.
